Free Online Workshop for Immigrant-Serving Groups, April 3rd & 4th

How do I position immigrants as assets to my community? What are today’s most effective messaging strategies? How do I create supportive environments for immigrants? And what is really going on with immigration reform in Washington?

The Immigrant Learning Center, Inc. Public Education Institute will answer these questions in a free online workshop for leaders and staff at immigrant-serving organizations. “Talking to America About Immigrants and Immigration” takes place on April 3 and 4, 2013, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. EST. Click here to register.

Following last year’s successful online pilot workshop for educators, this workshop features interactive webinars, videos and group chats. Staff at integration/advocacy, urban planning and economic development organizations will get the most current immigration information to better serve their communities.

This two-day workshop is free-of-charge and online registration is easy. Click here for a list of topics and computer requirements.
